Dear Prayer Friends,

Currently on Home Assignment until the end of July, I have continued to visit churches, family, and friends, sharing updates about the ministry that we are doing together for the Lord.

On May 29, I was able to share with the ReaLife Church in Jamestown, where Pastor Tim Smart and Pastor Eric Hamilton lead the vibrant congregation. What a blessing this church continues to be for this ministry!

From Jamestown, I flew (I was re-routed on 3 different flights) to Virginia. I am so thankful for the flights since on each one, I was able to witness to the person beside me. On each of the first two flights, a young college student sat on my row. I started up a conversation with each one and they seemed eager to talk with someone. I shared my faith with them and them seemed very interested. I also gave them a gospel tract with my name and email on it if they were interested in knowing more. The Word of God was planted in their hearts (Steve and Leo). On the third flight, the young man sitting on the row with me was in the army. As I shared my testimony with him, I found out he was a Christian. He needed direction for his life after finishing up with the army, and I reminded him that prayer was the first step… to ask God to show him what He wanted for his life. He told me, “Yes, I need to pray about that!” (Tyler) So, did I mind getting re-routed on 3 flights? Not at all after that amazing day!

So this month I traveled to the Richmond, Virginia area and shared with Clover Hill Baptist Church there. A big thank you to Pastor Mark Crockett for the opportunity to share with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Also thank you to Dolores Adams for arranging everything with the women. I was showered with a lot of great southern hospitality, what great people!

Some of the folks in various churches have talked with me about perhaps going to Thailand to teach as a short-term missionary! That is exciting! Please help me pray for them….and if YOU are interested in a short- (or long) term mission adventure, please let me know!

After Virginia, I flew to Texas where I am enjoying time spent with my daughter and my two furry “granddoggies”! My daughter, Elizabeth, has two dachshunds.

Please continue to pray for this ministry, presently in the states: (1) to be a blessing, (2) for safe travels as I go to the Connect Gathering for missionaries on Home Assignment from July 18-22 in Orlando, Florida, (3) for the three young men on the planes: Steve, Leo, and Tyler, and (4) for my students in Bangkok that I am still messaging daily that God will continue to work in their hearts and lives.

After the conference, I return to Bangkok, arriving on July 24, Lord willing. Thank you for all that you do for this ministry! We are better together!

Blessings in Christ,

Deb Guzman
