About Cascade Bible Church
CBC is located in a small rural community known as the Methow Valley in the North Central Cascade Mountains. The Valley is a recreational hotbed with outdoor activities year around.
There are a wide range of people from farmers and ranchers to Microsoft and Google executives. The demographics greatly vary not only in profession but also in way of thought, extreme conservatives to extreme liberals. Due to the Valley's beauty people are drawn to the Methow. Those with great financial success own million dollar second homes making it difficult for locals to afford housing as well as having enough housing for them.
As a result, CBC is looking at creative ways to infiltrate into the community's various demographics. The worship and creative arts pastor will need to be aware of this and have a willingness to think somewhat outside the box.
Job description
The worship/creative arts pastor will need to have a discipleship heart and mentality. We are looking to "Grow Young" by raising up our youth and provide them with opportunities to serve in numerous ways, including in worship.
We would like the person who fills this position to be able to help with the audio and visual technology or at least be able to develop a team. We already have several people capable and willing to serve.
