Calvary Baptist Church is a Bible-based fellowship with a mission to be engaged in the worship and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.Calvary began in 1985 when a Bible Study group of 13 people decided to become an official church. Initial meetings were held on the second floor of the Red Owl Grocery Store (the building now occupied by Rural Solutions) followed by the basement of what is now Old National Bank. In 1986 Calvary purchased Snortum’s Nursery on North Highway 75 - our current location. Two major additions were built in 1994 and 2003.
Calvary is associated with Converge (formerly the Baptist General Conference).
