Dear Friends,

My name is Timothy Gavrilenko, and I hail from Portland, Oregon. Yet, my roots trace back to Ukraine, where my family sought refuge following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. As the eldest of seven siblings, I've found myself unwittingly following in the footsteps of my missionary parents, who devoted their lives to spreading the Gospel, first in Russia and then in our homeland, Ukraine.

My journey led me to Moody Bible Institute, where I recently graduated with a degree in biblical studies. During my time there, I underwent a profound transformation, feeling a stirring in my heart for Europe and the UK, recognizing them as regions in need of the Gospel's light.

Serving with Trans-Atlantic Theological Training (AT-3) in 2021 and 2023 afforded me a firsthand glimpse into the spiritual landscape of the UK. I witnessed a troubling trend: a drift into a post-Christian ethos, where the once-prominent influence of Christianity has waned, replaced by indifference or outright rejection.

Post-Christianity presents both a challenge and an opportunity for believers like us. It's a chance to reintroduce the transformative message of Christ to those who may have never truly encountered it. It's a call to embody a love that transcends mere tolerance and to demonstrate that Christ is not just a historical figure but the living embodiment of love, unity, and justice.

I'm excited to continue my mission with AT-3, where I'll be serving for the next two years at Hoylake Evangelical Church. The need in the UK is immense, and it's a call that requires trained individuals willing to reach out to those who have yet to hear the name of Jesus.

I humbly ask for your prayers for the UK and Europe, that the Gospel may take root and flourish in these lands once again. Additionally, I invite you to partner with me in this work—your prayers and financial support are invaluable in advancing the Kingdom of God.
