It’s hard to believe that In a few short weeks, my tenure as Regional President of Converge Northeast will come to an end. I am grateful for the privilege of serving the pastors and leaders of the Northeast Region. Through their faithful support, our regional ministry is on solid foundation and is strongly advancing to strengthen existing churches and start new churches, here, near and far.

This past weekend, I had the joy of participating in the ordination service of one of our Converge pastors. I will then participate in another ordination service on June 23.

He Is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! That call and response have echoed across the millennia as Christians around the world past and present celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I was reminded last week of the importance of prayer. Not just personal prayer that is a regular part of our daily spiritual disciplines, but a fervent, congregation-wide or region-wide movement of prayer. In a meeting last week about the Great Barrington, MA church plant, I was asked if I had initiated a Converge Northeast – wide prayer effort.
