The Converge Deaf Catalyst Team is a team of Deaf & hearing leaders passionate about seeing a gospel movement in every least-reached Deaf people group - in our generation.
Why we serve
Roughly 2% of the 71 million Deaf individuals in developing countries currently have access to the gospel story. Too many Deaf in every region of the world are born, live, and die without ever once encountering a follower of Jesus who can speak their language.

Throwing a house party for the Deaf
Learning that there were no Deaf believers in Mauritius, Kenny and Dorianne took the initiative to bring the gospel to them. The Converge Deaf Catalyst team collaborated with them to throw a house party for the Deaf that led to an encounter with Jesus.

Jesus, a Deaf Missions Film curriculum
The Converge International Ministries Deaf Catalyst Team has been integrally involved with their friends at Deaf Missions in the release of the Jesus, a Deaf Missions Film. Roughly 40,000 people saw the movie during its weekend theater release in June. Our team developed the follow up materials that are being used to share the gospel all across the nation. Now your church can host a showing of the film for Deaf people in your area.
