The past 3 years have been a reset for most CNW churches. While strategies and programs are helpful, we desperately need a return to Jesus-focused ministry. This year, the Connect Conference will give our leaders an opportunity to learn and practice prayer and “center” around the priority of Scripture. Accessible to churches of any size or demographic.

Workshops // October 5

A PASTOR AND A POLITICIAN IN STEREO
Barry Crane and Neil T.
Neil serves as a coach of church planters in Converge Northwest for many years. As a Kingdom minded servant of the Lord, he responded to the call to serve his community by entering the political process and becoming a city council member. In the same city, Barry planted a congregation 20 years ago with the intention of connecting with the culture in meaningful ways, as though the church was being planted some unreached area of the world. In this workshop Neil and Barry will commiserate about their roles in Kingdom collaboration in the same community.

Dennis Blevins
Discovering together the blueprint of what it takes to build an intentional disciple-making culture, working on its foundation, and laying out the pathway in the local church. JESUS-CENTERED MINISTRY TO POST-CHRISTIAN THINKERS
Ken Lippold
In a culture that has almost entirely left Jesus in the rear-view mirror, how can we present Jesus in a way that is relevant yet does not compromise the gospel message? In this session you'll learn three frameworks to understand post-Christian thought and three ways to engage post-Christian thinkers with the gospel.
