On October 13 & 14, we gathered at Grace Church in Hudson, MA for the Converge Northeast Advance Conference. It was an incredible time of worship, inspiration and teaching. Along with corporate worship and keynote addresses by Pastor Justin Kendrick, Converge President John K. Jenkins, Sr. and Pastor Mark Pena, we offered carefully chosen breakout sessions for the first time.
Most importantly, we were able to celebrate the goodness, grace and mercy of God as we have seen the gospel reach expand throughout the region over the past year.
Here are some of the highlights to celebrate:
4 new church affiliations in 2023 bringing the total of Converge Northeast congregations to 125.
From 2020 to present, 11 church plants or campuses have been deployed. In 2019 we set a goal of 15 by 2025. Already in 2023, we have 5 church plants or campuses ready to deploy, 4 additional in the planning stages and 2 more in the beginning stages. Prayerfully, we will exceed the goal that was set.
We have 5 area teams for pastoral connections. Overall, 60+ pastors are connected into our groups.
We continue to focus on marital health of our pastoral couples through the Anchored Marriage Retreat.
Completed focused international missions training with 1 church; 4 more in the process.
Completed a 1-year leadership cohort with 8 early to mid-career pastors.
These represent just a handful of what we have seen God accomplish through the ministry of Converge Northeast and our member congregations. We are looking forward to He will do in the next season of ministry.
I am pleased to serve alongside an incredible team of staff and board members. As always, we are here to support and serve the leadership of the local church. Our desire is to see message of the gospel shared in the region so that every city, town and rural area; every woman, man and child is reached with the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ!
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity.
