Happy New Year!

We hope all of you had a great holiday season filled with lots of joy and love. As we start a new year I hope that most of all you can look back at this last year, as difficult as it has been, and see God's hand. I thought I would give a quick summary of our year in the hopes that you can see His faithfulness. I pray that it will be an encouragement to you.

We began the year with lots of hope and excitement. I was done with school, we had started to meet with people and churches building our ministry team, we were excited to get our house remodel finished, and head to our training.  But like all of you we had NO IDEA what 2020 would bring! What a year!

Looking back it is amazing to see all that God has accomplished for us and in us this past year. Despite the whole world shutting down God has been faithful. We finished our remodel, moved out of our house, found renters, went to North Carolina, we came home and had a HUGE garage sale, then we went to Wyoming and Colorado, we came home for a couple weeks and then went to Minnesota.

Finishing our remodel and finding renters before our trips was a huge blessing. We went to North Carolina for six weeks where we learned some helpful methods of learning another language as well as tips and tricks to make things go easier. We also learned about other cultures and how we can adapt to them. This was so helpful as we prepare to enter a totally foreign culture and try to share the gospel with them in a way that they can understand.

Our garage sale was the biggest garage sale that I have ever seen. We filled our parents barn with not only our stuff but a lot of stuff donated by so many generous people in our community. We raised a lot of money to help cover the expenses of our move.

A missionary couple that recently retired from our organization blessed us by connecting us with their supporting churches and because of these connections we took a trip to Wyoming and Colorado where we were able to meet with several people and churches. We had a blast meeting with so many wonderful people and really enjoyed seeing another part of this beautiful country.

A couple weeks after we got back we were able to go to Minnesota and spend some valuable time with our future teammates The Jacksons. We also were able to visit with other key people from our organization. We had a wonderful Sunday worshiping with one of our partner churches Grace Fellowship. We were also able to visit with Dr. Jeed and Pastor Ohm and his wife Jin from the Thai Christian Fellowship in Minneapolis. We had a fun trip, unexpected snowstorm included!

God has led us to so many wonderful people that feel called to partner with us in this ministry to reach Thai people for Jesus. Our prayer team has grown so much and we can feel it. Our support level is now at 89% and we are working on our visas. As you read this letter I hope you can see God's hand on our entire year and despite all of the frustrations and disappointments that we all have experienced we can look back and see his faithfulness. As 2021 begins I pray that you are filled with hope, and excitement to see how God will move.

"So let go my soul and trust in Him, the waves and wind still know His name"
It is well with my soul!"

We value all of you that have partnered with us in prayer and financially. We would love to be in prayer for you and welcome your prayer requests.
