DEB GUZMAN
YOUR MISSIONARY IN
BANGKOK, THAILAND
BREAKING NEWS! Many businesses are starting to reopen here in Bangkok. We will soon be
able to meet as a congregation on Fridays…in person! The work continues.
Thank you for your prayers. Several of our cell group members are walking closer to the Lord
now! Here is a picture of our meeting from last Sunday. 10 of us were present.
Currently, I am finishing up the module on Thai Social Problems which has been an excellent
insight into the values and lives of the Thai. On May 26, I will start the last of the 12 courses
offered at Grace Language School. The class is about Thai News and how to read and understand
the newspaper. I should finish by the end of June. Then, I will be teaching English at Santisuk for
2 months as well as continuing with director’s training to be able to run a branch of Santisuk
Language School here in Bangkok by the middle of next year, Lord willing.
One of the requirements for directors is to take the Thai Competency Test. I will need to return
to Grace to study the prep course for this test from September to November as well as take the
test in November. Then, I will continue to teach English at Santisuk and train as director. Please
pray for these upcoming activities and ministry opportunities.
Thank you for your continual support of this ministry. You and I work together to further God’s
kingdom. I thank God daily for you. You are an encouragement to me. Thank you so much for
all you do!
