We are having great online classes with our students (despite all the school closures in Thailand due to a great surge in Covid cases). It is challenging and fun to come up with new ways to make our classes enjoyable and exciting for our students – some who must spend many hours also working or studying online! Also, may are quite worried and/or depressed over this situation of being socially isolated, of losing their jobs, of not being able to spend time with their extended families for celebration, etc.
One of my students seemed quite interested when I shared the “Mr. Good Man” gospel tract with her. Her name is Kung (sounds like Goong, means “shrimp”). She has not made any profession of faith yet, but maybe soon!
Something that keeps me limber and helps me to move around better is a weekly massage. It keeps the stress down and helps me relax. One of the people who regularly gives me a massage is Game. He is a young man, 25 years old, who has a 9-year-old daughter to raise. She lives with his parents in the southern part of Thailand. He works here in Bangkok and lives with his uncle’s family. I have been talking to Game about God, but many times he said that he didn’t understand. I have given him tracts and tried to help him, especially during this time when the massage spas are closed (Covid). He comes to give me a massage, but I always have another woman with me when he comes, of course. Na (she works for Santisuk) and I talked to him again when he came. He finally said that he understood the Plan of Salvation and wanted to ask Jesus to save him. He prayed to receive Christ! We were so happy for him! Thank you for your prayers!
Praise:
- For Game’s salvation!
- The move to Santisuk English Center Ladkrabang went very well. I have
settled in well.
Prayer Requests:
- For many students to enroll in our Santisuk schools with open hearts to receive the Lord
- For the salvation of Peh, Bale, Deng, Rad, Kung, Muc, Mew, Numwarn, Poppies, Noon, Rada, Saa, Bow, and Kem.
- Game and Kratae’s discipleship – for them to grow spiritually
