If these are true about you then you might be our next Student Pastor at Berean! Our student pastor is the chief advocate for the upcoming generations of the church and will in partnership with our families oversee the people, strategies, content, and environment of Berean Students programming (6-12th grade) to ensure that the family of God is working together to make disciples of the next generation. 

• Qualified Character - You can’t lead where you haven’t been. We are looking for a godly man who’s lifestyle conforms to the standards for Biblical eldership (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1). You are a follower of Jesus first. 

• Team Player - We are not looking for a Lone Ranger! We want someone who wants to contribute to a dynamic team. We believe that the love, unity, and joy we experience together will affect our whole church family. We have a culture where everyone is willing to lend a hand, even if it is not “in their lane,” and where we are constantly seeking to make each other better! 

• Dynamic Teacher - Do you love to inspire followers of Jesus through preaching? We believe that God’s Word is powerful and answers the deepest questions of our hearts and you will be a great fit if your Bible is well-worn. We are looking for a gifted communicator who has experience teaching large groups (Our student gatherings average over 150 people). We are looking for Biblical and theological depth AND someone who can keep the attention of an energetic 6th grader!  

• Experienced Leader - You better be a great coach because you will be leading multiple staff and dozens of lay leaders who are passionate about seeing Jesus change the lives of students! We are looking for someone with a proven track record (3+ years) of experience leading a larger leadership team in a church or ministry context. You have to be able to coordinate and delegate large scale events on a regular basis. You won’t be able to do it all yourself, so the idea of equipping and deploying a team needs to fire you up!
