Valley Simsbury Worship Arts Director
About Valley Community Baptist Church
Valley Community Baptist Church (“Valley”), a member of Converge (formerly the Baptist General Conference), is a vibrant multiplying church. The church is located 15 minutes outside Hartford, Connecticut, and averages 1,200 people in worship attendance across our two locations each week. In the past 20 years, Valley has planted two daughter churches and launched two additional locations. The most recent launch is in Simsbury, a community north of the launching campus in Avon. Valley Simsbury has a strong mission and discipleship impulse and is known for families and individuals committed to “life together, on mission, for God’s glory.” Valley Simsbury has grown in attendance since COVID and is currently averaging 150 people in worship each Sunday. Valley is an evangelical, conservative, congregationally governed, Elder-led church and is known for: (1) biblical, relevant, multi-style worship services and strong preaching ministry; (2) strong ministry to children and students; and (3) constant pursuit of innovative ways to do ministry.
