Freedom in Christ

In His parable about final judgment, Jesus put a high priority on people who have special needs, saying, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father and take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world…for when I was in prison and you came to visit me… I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Mt. 25).

Jesus calls us to remember those who are incarcerated. In Minnehaha County, there are about 400 prisoners less than 20 minutes from us, and they need our witness and consideration.

Grace Team Jail Ministry is Sioux Falls, South Dakota, based ministry whose mission is to share the love of God with inmates and staff at the Minnehaha County Jail. We mentor recently released inmates to help them discover true freedom through a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Grace Team also has weekly Bible Studies at the jail and halfway houses throughout Sioux Falls.

We also assist churches that are interested in starting a jail ministry. Contact us to learn more.
