Education for those in vocational ministry and lay leaders
Have you ever thought:
- Why is it hard to attract, recruit, and develop Christ-centered leaders in my church?
- I have a heart for ministry, but due to life circumstances I am unable to pursue it as a vocation.
- I want a deeper understanding what the New Testament is specifically saying about Christ's Church.
If you or someone you know has had these thoughts, then Converge Great Lakes has exciting news! Converge Great Lakes is pleased to announce our new partnership with the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development.
Antioch School is a division of BILD International based in Ames, Iowa. BILD is a worldwide ministry with a network of training expertise. BILD focuses on seeing disciples and congregations multiplied by bringing back into the church the priority of discipleship and mentoring Christ-followers for the glory of God. Over the last few years BILD has created an extension of this ministry known as the Antioch School of Church Leadership.
Antioch School offers accredited bachelors and masters level degrees to persons who desire this level of training in preparation for vocational ministry. They also offer an extensive curriculum that can be used for the lay leaders in the church.

Converge Great Lakes helped us work through a variety of growth transitions and work through staff conflict, and how to create the right team. They provided coaching for church health, which resulted in greater ministry effectiveness.
