A team dedicated to fostering unity and generosity for our entire Converge family
Many in the past have invested in the Converge of today, giving us a strong financial base to ensure the longevity of our movement. We stand on their shoulders.
But who will invest in the Converge of tomorrow, ensuring upcoming generations will continue to work together to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus?
Kent Adcock, former CEO of Habitat for Humanity and Converge’s new VP of Development, has put together a team to answer that very question. “Our vision is to see more churches started, disciples multiplied, and missionaries sent out,” Kent explained. “We want to be part of developing healthier, growing churches and leaders and expanding our cultural diversity to advance the Gospel.”
Since 1856, Converge has embodied the idea of “Better Together.” As a multi-ethnic movement of independent churches, we collaborate to bring the life-changing message of Jesus to the world—and one of the most exciting parts of this movement is the support from people who want to see it continue to thrive.
As the Converge family, you are part of seeing lives changed through Jesus, person by person, worldwide. When someone gives to Converge—regionally or nationally—they are giving to a living and breathing long-term mission: to see more churches planted, congregations and pastors strengthened, and global workers sent into the world to help spark gospel movements among the world’s least-reached people.
Caring for our donors
We feel honored to be trusted with carrying the torch and passing it to the next generation of churches. It’s why we want to care for and help our donors see the difference they’re making in the future of Converge and the Church at large through our new Donor Care Team.
Our Donor Care Team exists to serve the regions, our national movement, and global workers by fostering generosity and care that fulfills Converge's vision. It’s our goal to get to know those who give to Converge, connect them with opportunities that they’re passionate about, and share the incredible things God is doing through Converge thanks to their generosity.
Your Donor Care Team
We’re excited to introduce you to Converge's Donor Care Team.
Kent Adcock
Vice President of Development / Planned Giving Officer
Kent is passionate about helping people see their financial legacy through the lens of faith. As Converge’s Vice President of Development and Planned Giving Officer, he guides individuals in understanding how their resources—whether tithes, offerings, appreciated assets, or legacy gifts—can fuel kingdom impact both during their lifetime and beyond.
With over two decades of experience helping people steward their finances for good, Kent previously served as CEO of Habitat for Humanity. His deep understanding of donor psychology, especially regarding significant gifts, makes him a natural fit for Converge’s development efforts.
Lisa Lewis
Donor Care Specialist / Development Administrator
Lisa sees every donor as someone to shepherd. As the first point of contact for those looking to give, she ensures each interaction is deeply personal, matching individuals’ giving passions with opportunities that make a difference through Converge.
Before stepping into this role, Lisa spent 20 years as a Navy nurse, reaching the rank of Commander. Her background taught her the importance of proactive care—anticipating needs before they arise, providing reassurance, and ensuring people are truly heard. She came to faith as an adult in a Converge church plant. Since then, her family has been deeply embedded in our shared mission, with her husband now serving as a U.S.-based global worker helping churches connect with missions overseas.
Barb Ehlers
Church and Donor Relationship Specialist
Barb’s role as Church and Donor Relationship Specialist is rooted in deep relational investment, ensuring every church that partners with Converge understands why they belong and how they can make a greater impact.
She’s worked with Converge since 2014 in financial services.. That experience, combined with decades-long experience volunteering in student ministry, gives her a unique perspective on serving pastors and churches. Today she works closely with regional staff presidents to understand the unique cultures and needs of each region.
Jeff Bell
Church and Donor Relationship Specialist
Jeff brings a pastor’s heart and a strategist’s mind to his work at Converge. As the former lead pastor of Mosaic Church in Littleton Colorado, Jeff now splits his time between the Donor Care team and Converge MSC, where he serves as Associate Director of Coaching and Leadership.
Jeff focuses on helping churches and donors understand why their partnership with Converge matters. By listening to their unique stories and offering customized programming opportunities, Jeff helps churches and individuals find their fit within the Converge network.
He’s drawn to Converge’s irenic spirit, seeing it as a movement that combines deep faith with real-world impact. Now, he’s eager to continue cultivating relationships across diverse regions, ensuring that every partnership is built on both trust and mission alignment.
