Dating back to shepherds on the Middle Eastern plains (Genesis 29:2–3), feeding, protecting and growing a flock works best when we coordinate and collaborate with others. I’m grateful for and better because of fellow Converge leaders and churches.
When the Lord led my family and me to serve in the Middle East over a decade ago, Converge — as our supportive extended family — assessed, trained and prayed for us. While on the field, Converge helped us carry out what God had called us to do. Now as a pastor in a multicultural city in the U.S., we gladly send our people who are called overseas through Converge.
Converge has been with me on every step of my church planting journey—from learning how to raise support, building a launch team and publicly launching the church. Our church would not have had the success it’s having today without the expertise from Converge.
